American Healing Arts Foundation Inc., Is organized exclusively to promote the use and application of art as therapy for the benefit of the Public, and particularly to provide a health and spiritual benefit to U.S. Veterans and other first Responders who offer service to their country and community; to promote research, educate the Public, and to encourage and enable generally the use of art as a creative and restorative tool for full re-entry into the community.

We are dedicated to advancing wellness through the arts with a focus on programs for military servicemen and women who have served on various fronts for our country.

American Healing Arts Foundation provides free art classes (all supplies included) and therapists for our great veterans of all wars, conflicts, peace time service and all eras. We hope to expand this program to first responders in the future.
Art is proven to be a great form of physical, psychological and spiritual therapy for veterans especially those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which is nonverbal in nature and the ability to integrate and express past experiences is trapped below the level of conscious thought.
Our organization will never discriminate against the homeless, poverty-stricken, jobless, disabled, wealthy, poor, working or retired veteran. AHAF is open to any veteran ever wearing our country’s uniform to serve our great country. Special efforts are being made to fund and provide benefits to veterans who are now financially and physically distressed, may be unemployed, and who may not be responsive to traditional treatments.
The American Healing Arts Foundation Inc., a tax-exempt 501 (C) 3 Arizona non-profit organization is an equal opportunity tutor and welcomes diversity. This foundation does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities, physically challenged, nor on the basis of gender, race, color, sexuality, national or ethnic origin, or religion.
